Rumination of Thunder

I had High hopes.

With the forecasting involved and the radar when I got off work . . .

And I went out and got this:

Yup, pretty cloud.

Maybe next time.

Ah . . . spring.

NOAA had advised against some nasty weather occuring today.

Around 4pm, they were spotting twisters (weak lived quick spin up tornados) outside of Hutchinson. I ran up I-135 to Newton went west about 10 miles.

A few more wall clouds spawned over Hesston, but no funnels were produced.

Saturday may have a little severe weather.

Heavy winds and hail. Possible squall coming through. Needless to say, we need rain.

I'm playing with some panoramic software in aticipation of storm season.

For Sunday. Thunder . . . Thunder . . . Thunderstorms! Weeeeeeeee.

Spring . . . coming soon.

California had a tornado today. Took the tin roof off of a barn, that's it.

No elephant's stampeding.
